Female Technologists: Leading Technology, Leading Ourselves

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

#14NTCFemTech

This session will offer strategic guidance on the challenges and rewards of working as women in this sector, the skills required to survive and thrive as female professionals, and the generalized experiences shared by women nonprofit technologists as they relate to specific work experiences.  We expect participation, but not a therapy session, to demonstrate how to help your career, how to help others help your career, how to help others behind you.

Attendees will learn: 1) How to position yourself as organization leaders to support women executives and managers; 2) Strategies for advancing your own careers, and learning to differentiate your own development challenges from external conditions as female technologists; 3) Leveraging your own initiative to develop role models, professional colleagues, and yes, friends!
